Project Information

This editorial design project involved the visual and structural development of a comprehensive compendium published by WRI India. The objective was to create a cohesive editorial framework that effectively communicates the findings of 16 diverse case studies spanning nine Indian states. The design facilitates a deep dive into the Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE), focusing on its impact on agricultural value chains through technologies like solar irrigation, cold storage, and agro-processing.

What we did?

Our agency led the editorial design and visual systems for this comprehensive WRI India compendium, focusing on transforming complex field research into a highly navigable and professional publication. We established a robust information architecture to present 16 distinct case studies from nine Indian states, ensuring that technical data on Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) - such as solar irrigation and cold storage - remained accessible to a diverse audience of practitioners and policymakers. A key focus of our work was the visual translation of the Sustainable Livelihoods Framework (SLF), where we utilized clean typography and structured layouts to bridge the gap between academic theory and on-the-ground impact. By balancing technical rigor with human-centric storytelling, we created a structured roadmap that highlights how clean energy interventions foster rural development and enhance socio-economic resilience.
